abstract |
The invention relates to a method for coating a substrate with a sealant, particularly for joining or gluing parts or/and for sealing or filling cavities or intermediate spaces. According to the inventive method, the non-hardened sealant contains a latent catalyst which is released in an active form or/and formed when an outside energy source is applied thereto, thereby initiating or accelerating the reaction between the basic polymer and the hardener used for hardening. The invention also relates to a non-hardened sealant containing a basic polymer and a hardener with a catalyst, in which the catalyst is contained in a latent manner and is released in an active form by applying an outside energy source. |
