titleOfInvention Optical material
abstract An optical material which comprises a resin comprising constituent units derived from a first monomer such as methyl methacrylate and a second monomer such as isobornyl methacrylate or t-butyl methacrylate and, contained in the resin, an unpolymerized phosphoric ester compound and copper ions. This optical material is excellent in absorption of lights having specific wavelengths and in moldability. It can retain high stability for long even in a high-temperature high-humidity environment.
