abstract |
A system and method are provided for obtaining features and indices indicative of the presence or absence of a disease or condition or the course of a disease or condition. The system and method according to the invention also make it possible to obtain particularities and indices providing for a faculty of response to a medicament from a basic state of premedication. The system and method according to the invention also include a test methodology, for the purpose of improving the performance characteristics of the features or indices. In order to obtain such features and indices, values of time domain, power spectrum, bispectrum and higher order spectrum are derived from biopotential signals taken from the subject under test. |
