The invention relates to radiator protective agent concentrates containing, in addition to water and a common polyhydric alcohol, the following constituents: a) 0.05 to 5 wt. %, with regard to the total quantity of the concentrate, of a salt of 2-ethylhexanoic acid; b) 0.05 to 5 wt. %, with regard to the total quantity of the concentrate, of a salt of 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid; c) 0.05 to 5 wt. %, with regard to the total quantity of the concentrate, of a salt of at least one hydroxyl group-containing aromatic monocarboxylic acid. The hydroxyl group-containing aromatic monocarboxylic acid is preferably 4-hydroxybenzoic acid. Ready for use aqueous coolant compositions can be produced from the radiator protective agent concentrates by diluting them with water. |
