abstract Novel crystalline forms of atorvastatin calcium designated Fa and Je which are prepared by crystallization from non-aqueous, non-polar solvents at a temperature above 90°C. The crystalline forms are useful as agents for treating hyperlipidemia and hypercholesterolemia.
