titleOfInvention Method for accelerated production of a compost, and compost obtained by said method
abstract The invention concerns a method comprising the following steps which consist, during the preparation phase, in: loading the waste to be treated in a bioreactor, providing optimal water content between 60 % and 70 %, homogenizing the mixture by an initial stirring; during the stabilizing phase: continuously carrying out forced ventilation, stirring at regular time intervals; during the maturation phase: allowing the compost to rest exposed to ambient air. The organic waste consists essentially of lignocellulosic residues in relatively fine fractions, and, before said initial stirring, adding nitrogenous liquid waste to obtain a mixture wherein the lignocellulosic residues/nitrogenous waste ratio is such that it provides an initial carbon/nitrogen ratio (C/N) of said mixture of about 25 to about 40, and providing an initial pH between about 5.2 and about 5.5.
