Process for producing optical element |
abstract |
An optical element produced through bonding with an adhesive composition which gives an adhesive layer developing no cracks, can be easily prepared, and has excellent bonding strength. Also provided is a process for producing the optical element which comprises: disposing an adhesive composition obtained by subjecting to hydrolysis and dehydrating condensation a raw solution containing 10 to 50 mol% silane compound represented by SiX14 (X1 represents a hydrolyzable group) or combination thereof with a metal alkoxide, 25 to 65 mol% silane compound represented by PhSiX23 (Ph represents phenyl or substituted phenyl and X2 represents a hydrolyzable group), and 25 to 65 mol% silane compound represented by (CH3)2SiX32 (X3 represents a hydrolyzable group) between an optical part and other part(s); and then heating the composition to bond the optical part to the other part(s). |
