abstract A self-reactive/curable water-based solid adhesive characterized by comprising the following ingredients (A), (B), (C), and (D): (A) an alkoxysilyl-terminated polymer containing anionic groups obtained by reacting (A1) a compound containing no anionic group and containing isocyanate-reactive groups, (A2) a compound containing an anionic group and isocyanate-reactive groups, (A3) a polyisocyanate compound, and (A4) an alkoxysilane compound containing an isocyanate-reactive group; (B) a basic compound; (C) water; and (D) a gellant. The adhesive is excellent in applicability, adherend fixation after bonding, adhesion to various adherends, heat resistance, and water resistance. It is usable in contact bonding and is extremely useful as a stick-form adhesive.
