Angiographic fluid control system |
abstract |
An automated fluid control system for controlling fluid flow between a catheter (12), a saline supply (13), a contrast supply (14) and an injector (11) is disclosed. Pinch valves (17, 23, 38, 39) are provided in the saline input (22) and output (31) lines and contrast input (16) and output (29) lines. A controller (45) is linked to the pinch valves to sequentially open and close the pinch valves during functions which include contrast injection and saline injection. |
