Method of treating flowing water and the surfaces in contact with said flowing water |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method of treating flowing water and the surfaces in contact with said flowing water. The invention is characterised in that the following compounds are introduced together into the water, preferably close to said surface and, even better, in the peripheral area of the flow: at least one polymer compound having a high molecular mass and hydrodynamic friction reducing properties; and at least one monoamine or polyamine compound comprising a fatty alkyl or alkenyl chain with biocide properties. The invention also relates to a composition which is formulated as: a powder that is to be scattered; an injectable liquid, particularly an emulsion; a gel that is left to spread; or a coating that is applied to the surface in contact with the water, preferably a paint. Said formulation is such that it progressively salts out at least the friction reducing polymer compound in said water in contact with the surface. |
