abstract |
Disclosed herein is an improved Bone Tendon Bone graft (400) for use in orthopedic surgical procedures. Specifically exemplified herein is a Bone Tendon Bone graft comprising one or more bone blocks (432 & 434) having a groove (436 and 438) cut into the surface thereof, wherein said groove (436 and 438) is sufficient to accommodate a fixation screw (440). Also disclosed is a porcine bone tendon bone graft for use in orthopedic procedures. Additionally, also a method of harvesting grafts that has improved efficiency, increases the quantity of extracted tissue and minimizes time required by surgeon for implantation is disclosed. |
