The invention concerns an assembly (1) comprising the valve prosthesis (3) to be implanted and a support (2) receiving said valve (3). The invention is characterised in that the support comprises: at least a tubular portion (4) made of a flexible material slightly stretchable in the circumferential direction; means (6) for fixing said tubular portion (4) to the wall of the corporeal duct; and a plurality of elongated reinforcing elements (5), arranged on the circumference of said tubular portion (4) and linked to said tubular portion (4) independently of one another; the valve (3) is linked at least partly to said elongated reinforcing elements (5), in particular at the commissures (3a) of its valvelets, and said elongated reinforcing elements (5) jointly form, in extended position, a structure having a predetermined diameter which ensures sufficient extension of said valve (3). |
