The invention relates to a method for producing peracylated 1-O-glycosides of general formula (I) or salts thereof, wherein sugar<1> is a monosaccharide which is functionalised in the 1-OH-position, R represents methyl, ethyl, propyl isopropyl butyl phenyl, n represents 2, 3 or 4, X represents -COO- or -NH- and L represents a straight-chained, branched, saturated or unsaturated C1-C30-carbon chain which is optionally interrupted or substituted by groupings. The inventive method is based on economical starting material, it provides good yields and enables large scale production of peracylated saccharides with 1-O-functionalised lateral chains. |
