abstract An EPDM composition which is obtained by mixing an EPDM having a diene content of 4.5 wt.% or lower, an ethylene content of 58 to 80 wt.%, and a Mooney viscosity ML1+4(125°C) of 50 to 170 with a particulate material having a specific gravity of 12 or higher, the amount of the particulate material being 80 to 97.5 wt.% based on the whole composition. Preferred as the particulate material is tungsten, a tungsten compound, or a tungsten-based alloy. The EPDM composition has a high specific gravity, is flexible, is excellent in moldability and weatherability, and has improved strength.
