abstract |
A dosing reservoir (10) for distributing an active compound in controlled amounts onto a target surface comprising a first impermeable layer and a second permeable layer facing and affixed to the first layer. A fluid tight cell (12) with a frangible seal (14) and containing an active compound is disposed between the first and second layers. When the frangible seal (14) is ruptured, the active compound is released from the cell (12) and is controllably released from the reservoir (10) through the permeable layer. |
