abstract A processing method for allowing a cell structure (1) to carry a catalytic component. Information concerning the mass of the cell structure (1) is indicated on the surface thereof before a carrying process is entered. The information is read in the carrying process and an appropriate quantity of catalytic component is carried by the cell structure (1) based on the information. An appropriate quantity of catalytic component can be carried depending on the mass of each cell structure regardless of variation thereof when the catalytic component is carried by the cell structure.
