Reagents which regulate human triacylglycerol lipase and reagents which bind to human triacylglycerol lipase gene products can play a role in preventing, ameliorating, or correcting dysfunctions or diseases including, but not limited to, cancer, CNS disorders, COPD, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders, particularly dyslipidemia leading to arteriosclerosis and especially hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, and hypoalphalipoproteinemia. |
