The invention provides isolated nucleic acids molecules, designated 8843 nucleic acid molecules, which encode novel dual specificity phosphatase members. The invention also provides methods of modulating the differentiation and proliferation of erythroid progenitors, and CD34 positive cells. The invention further provides methods of treating, preventing and diagnosing eythroid-associated disorders such as anemias, leukemias, and erythrocytosis. |
