abstract |
The invention relates to an amorphous polyester having a dynamic viscosity θ (120 °C, 1 rad/sec) between 1000 and 10000 Pas, a dynamic viscosity θ (180 °C, 1 rad/sec) between 1 and 1000 Pas and a phase angle δ (120 °C, 1 rad/sec) between 40 and 80 degrees. The invention also relates to a toner composition comprising an amorphous polyester comprises di-funtional acid- and/or alcohol units and/or multifunctional acid- and/or alcohol units and mono-functional acid units and/or mono-functional alcohol units wherein the mono functional acid units and/or mono functional alcohol units are present in an amount less than 30 % by weight relative to the total amount of monomers and wherein the acid number of the polyester is between 5 and 45 mg KOH/gr. resin. |
