This approach makes it possible to generate a very large set of new target proteins intended for drug discovery, new methods making it possible to develop new drugs and a set, previously unimaginable, of small molecules virtually synthesized and intended for therapeutic uses. The approach according to the invention can also be applied, for example, to the discovery of substitutes for environmentally harmful chemicals, more effective agrochemicals and healthier food additives.
