abstract | It is intended to provide a method of accurately constructing the three-dimensional structure of an arbitrary seven-pass transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor. A method of constructing the three-dimensional structure of a transmembrane protein characterized by comprising using an amino acid sequence data base (GCRDb) of seven-pass transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors as a profile, selecting a three-dimensional structure to be referred among known three-dimensional structures of the receptors, aligning a target protein with unknown three-dimensional structure, constructing the three-dimensional structure of the target protein with unknown three-dimensional structure as a G protein-coupled receptor to thereby construct the three-dimensional structure of the transmembrane protein. |
