| abstract | The invention relates to a communication system (10) comprising telecommunications and Internet communication services and a method for operating a communication system (10) of this type. An exchange device (12) is connected to an Internet communications network (16) and a telecommunications network (14). Said exchange device (12) provides a user with telecommunications and Internet services via a user connection (18). If an incoming call is received whilst the Internet services are activated for the user, the exchange device (12) transmits data to the called user by means of said Internet services. This data contains information about the incoming call. An automatic decision concerning the subsequent treatment of the call can be made with the help of a filter programme (24), using the transmitted data, based on the parameters of said filter programme (24) that have been set previously by the user. |
