abstract A pharmaceutical composition is described, intended particularly for the treatment of acne, which includes a synergic association of erythromycin and a carrier based on zeolite brought to Zn form. This association formulated for topical application as a powder or as an ointment or paste. The preparation process is also described, which is based on an initial exchange of the ions present in the zeolite contained in rocks with Na+ and a subsequent of sodium ions with Zn2+; this zeolite in zinc form is then mixed with erythromycin.
