abstract | A composite dispersion essentially constituted of a continuous phase of a vulcanized rubber and a disperse phase of a resin can be produced by melt-kneading a resin and a green rubber (particularly a rubber composition containing a radical generator and a vulcanization promoter) together and molding the resulting compound while vulcanizing or cosslinking the green rubber. The above resin is one having active atoms (e.g., a thermoplastic resin such as polyamide resin, a thermosetting resin, or a crosslinked or cured resin). In the above composite dispersion, a rubber constitutes the matrix phase and a part of the dispersed resin particles come out to the surface. Therefore, the composite dispersion exhibits on the surface sliding properties or other characteristics inherent in resin, while keeping the characteristics inherent in rubber. |
