abstract | The invention relates to powder coating suspensions (powder slurries) and powder coatings. The powder slurries can be produced by:1) emulsifying at least one liquid component containing at least one liquid source product in an aqueous medium, resulting in an aqueous emulsion of watery particles; 2) cooling the emulsion in order to form a suspension of dimensionally stable particles. The powder coatings can be produced by:1) emulsifying at least one liquid component containing at least one liquid source product in an aqueous medium, resulting in an aqueous emulsion of watery particles; 2) cooling the emulsion in order to form a suspension of dimensionally stable particles and subsequently 3) isolating said dimensionally stable particles. At least one emulsifying agent is used which contains an aqueous solution having a surface tension of >30 mN/m in the critical micelle formation concentration (CMC).The invention also relates to a method for producing said powder coating suspensions (powder slurries) and powder coatings in addition to the use thereof in coating, adhesive and sealant materials, or the use thereof in producing said coating, adhesive and sealant materials. |
