The invention relates to a coated granular material, said coating comprising the reaction product between (A) an acid-modified lipid (fatty acid) component and (B) an epoxide component. The invention further relates to a method for the production of coated granular materials, comprising the following steps (a) preparation of a granular material, (b) preparation of a coating material, comprising (A) an acid-modified lipid (fatty acid) component and (B) an epoxide component, (c) addition of the coating material to the pre-prepared granular material, (d) production of a coating on the granular material and (e) optional repetition of steps (c) and (d). |
