An electromagnetic wave light-transmitting window member (1) wherein an antireflection film (3), an electromagnetic wave shielding film (10), a transparent substrate (2), and a near-infrared cut film (5) are integrated into a laminate with adhesive intermediate films (4A, 4B) and an adhesive (4C), with the periphery covered with a conductive adhesive tape (7). An electromagnetic wave shielding film (10) has a conductive foil (11) formed on a base film (13) by pattern-etching. A light-absorption layer (12) is formed on this conductive film (11) to carry out antireflection treatment, and the surface of the light-absorption layer (12) is roughened to carry out dull surface treatment. A display panel wherein this electromagnetic wave shielding film (10) is adhered to the front face of the main body of a plasma display panel is also disclosed. The electromagnetic wave shielding light-transmitting window member and the display panel are excellent in electromagnetic wave shielding performance, antireflection effect, transparency, and visibility, and provide a sharp image. |
