A method for manufacturing an EL display panel comprising a step of forming a luminance layer by irradiating a photothermal conversion layer with light through a transparent base member while applying the fluorescent dye layer of a transfer member, comprising the transparent base member, the photothermal conversion layer and the fluorescent dye layer formed sequentially in this order, close to a transfer object thereby transferring the fluorescent dye to the transfer object. An EL display panel preferable for that method, an image display comprising that panel and the method of manufacture are also disclosed. |
