Visual enhancement through refractive pupillary control |
abstract |
A method for improving visual acuity of a patient is provided. The method includes fixing to an eye (10) of the patient an active element (26) so as to be capable of controlling an amount of light entering the eye. An electrical signal is applied to the active element, typically so as to modulate a diameter of the pupil (18) of the eye (10) . |
