abstract This invention relates to the P2YT receptor, which is also known as P2YADP, P2YAC, P2Ycyc, P2TAC. It is an ADP-dependent, G-protein coupled receptor that is involved in platelet aggregation. The invention also relates to methods of expressing the receptor in recombinant cells and methods of using the receptor to identify compounds or molecules that interact with the receptor. In an embodiment, the cells are used to identify anti-clotting drugs.
