abstract A method is described for purifying, recovering, refining or chemically modifying fluid substances of different origins, whose treatment is deemed to be necessary for the safeguard of the environment or for industrial applications, through high-energy accelerated electrons, typically from 1.2 MeV to 1.8 MeV; the liquid (2) or the gas fed into a suitable chamber protected with screens against the electromagnetic radiation (1) is subject to the action of the high-energy electronic beam (20) and of the catalysts and of the ultrasounds emitted by the transducers (23).
