titleOfInvention | Process for producing thiol protease d3 |
abstract | It is intended to quicken autolysis without lowering the activity of thiol protease D3 to thereby shorten the activation treatment time. A process for producing matured thiol protease D3 or its analog characterized by: i) setting ΔproD3, which has a sequence derived from the N-terminal prosequence of proD3 containing the full N-terminal prosequence of thiol protease D3 by deletion of a part thereof, or its analog under acidic conditions; and ii) recovering a protein having a protease activity which is the product obtained in the step i). Moreover, ΔproD3 having a sequence derived from the prosequence of D3 by deletion of a part thereof and its analog which are suitable for the above process, a nucleic acid molecule encoding the same, and a recombinant nucleic acid molecule containing the above nucleic acid molecule, in particular a recombinant nucleic acid molecule capable of expressing ΔproD3 in an appropriate host are provided. |
