abstract |
The device permits the controlled tensioning of soft parts, by means of flexible, longitudinal structures (10), which may be fixed to the soft part to be tensioned. The device comprises an essentially rigid body (1), with a through channel (3) for accommodation of at least one of the structures (10). The through channel (3) is embodied such that the structures (10) may only move through the through channel (3) in one direction as indicated by the arrow (16). The body (1) is further provided with means (4) for fixing thereof to an anatomical structure (13), such as a bone surface. The device permits fixing of the tendon or ligament of a musculotendinous or liagamentary feature to the bone such that an overstretching of the soft part is avoided and that the tension of the soft part may be adjusted and altered, during and after the operation by simple measures. |
