The device comprises a deflecting filtering element suitable to deflect the flow of embolic material flowing toward said second branch, while filtering the blood flowing toward said first branch. The device comprising a braided tubular body having a contracted state with a first diameter, and an expanded state having a second diameter greater than said first diameter.
