abstract |
A stop valve capable of contributing to the stabilization of operating responsiveness, comprising a housing having a water inlet port and a water outlet port, a piston installed in the housing so as to be moved slidably in axial direction by the external operation of a shaft, and a pressure offset means offsetting a pressure applied to the other side of the piston from the washing water in the water outlet port, the pressure offset means further comprising a pressure offset chamber formed on one side of the piston and a passage allowing the other side of the piston to communicate with the pressure offset chamber, wherein the piston is slid in one axial direction so as to close a communication of the water inlet port with the water outlet port by seating on the seat face of the housing and slid to the other axial direction so as to open the communication of the water inlet port with the outlet water port by moving apart from the seat face. |
