abstract A process for the production of crystalline calcium pantothenate which comprises subjecting a homogeneous mixture containing both crystalline calcium pantothenate and amorphous calcium pantothenate to moisture absorption. This process comprises, e.g., the following steps of: (1) mixing crystalline calcium pantothenate with amorphous calcium pantothenate to form a homogeneous mixture and (2) making the obtained homogeneous mixture absorb moisture, and permits efficient production of extremely lowly hygroscopic crystalline calcium pantothenate.
