titleOfInvention Circuit breaker with electro-magnetic trip apparatus
abstract A circuit breaker for interrupting an electric circuit in detection of an overcurrent exceeding a rated value, the circuit breaker comprising: detection means for detecting the flow of an overcurrent exceeding a predetermined rated value in the electric circuit by the bending of a bimetal, and creating a detection signal; control means for sending a tripping signal in response to the detection signal from the detection signal from the detection means; and trip means being electro-magnetically operated in response to the tripping signal from the control means to interrupt the electric circuit. According to the circuit breaker, fabrication of the bimetal and the armature is easy and productivity in fabrication of the circuit breaker is increased. Also, a precise and rapid tripping can be carried out when overcurrents takes place. Furthermore, the time-lag tripping is reduced due to the rapid tripping and thus the degradation of the covering material can be reduced.
