abstract | A heating tube with internal grooves, wherein a number of spiral fins (2) of spiral shape formed about the axis of a metal tube (1) are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the metal tube (1), the pitch (P) of the fins (2) in the direction perpendicular to the tube axis is 0.22 to 0.28 mm, the height (H) of the fins (2) from the inner peripheral surface of the metal tube is 0.23 to 0.28 mm, the outside diameter of the metal tube (1) is 6 to 10 mm, the bottom width (W1) of a spiral groove (4) in the direction perpendicular to the tube axis is 0.1 to 0.18 mm, the angle (β) formed by both side faces of the fins is 0 to 20°, the lead angle (α) formed by the fins and the tube axis is 14 to 35°, and the value obtained by dividing the width (W3) of the fins at the top part in the direction perpendicular to the tube axis by the height (H) of the fins is 0.1 to 0.3. |
