The invention relates to the detection or diagnosis of genetically based enzymatic activity and/or resistance to enzyme inhibitors. The invention provides a method using an enzyme-based assay which is faster, less expensive and less facility-dependent than currently available methods for measuring the resistance to enzyme inhibitors are. The invention provides for testing the inhibiting activity of a compound on an enzyme, or the resistance of said enzyme against said inhibiting activity. |
