Method of preparation for recombinant guamerin and pharmaceutical compositions containing the recombinant guamerin for wound healing |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method of preparation for recombinant Guamerin which is effective for wound healing and pharmaceutical compositions containing the recombinant Guamerin. Particulary, the present invention relates to the method of preparation for recombinant Guamerin showing an elastase-inhibiting activity that the recombinant Guamerin is expressed in recombinant Pichia pastoris with AOX1 promoter controlled by methanol. In order to induce the expression of the recombinant Guamerin, the present inventors develops DO (dissolved oxygen)-stat fed-batch culture with an automatic feed-back methanol feeding rate control system. The recombinant Guamerin prepared by the method of the present invention inhibits chemostasis of phagocytes as an elastase inhibitor, so the pharmaceutical compositions containing the recombinant Guamerin are effectively used as a therapeutic agent for wound healing. |
