titleOfInvention Emergency lighting system
abstract The aim of the invention is to be able to subsequently install a cost-effective emergency lighting system without additional wiring. To this end, the emergency lighting system is integrated in an existing room lighting system, which has at least one lighting device (halogen lamp 20, 23) operated with low voltage and which is connected to a lamp supply line (24). The emergency lighting system comprises the following piece parts: An accumulator for delivering current with low voltage; an accumulator control device, which connects the accumulator to the building power supply system (103) during an outage of the low voltage; a switch-over device (10), which is connected to a primary side of the transformer (22), to which a current lead (103) is connected, and to a secondary side of said transformer, to which a lamp supply line (24) is connected; a decoupling capacitor (5) which is located in the secondary side of the transformer (22); whereby the switch-over device (10) comprises a monitoring unit (11), which outputs a switching pulse during an outage of the low voltage, and with a switching unit (relay 16) which, in the instance of a switching pulse, connects the lamp supply line (24) to the current lead (103) while bypassing the transformer (22).
