abstract |
The open circuit voltage of a battery is determined. The battery is loaded with approximately the maximum load that the battery is subject to in its use. The voltage of the battery under load is measured. Based on predetermined life-cycle data for the battery being tested together with the voltage under load and the open circuit voltage, the lifetime and use time of the battery is determined. |
