abstract |
A polyester film for heat-resistant capacitors which is a biaxially oriented film consisting mainly of a polyester (A), contains a polyimide (B) therein, and has a glass transition temperature of 105 to 145°C and a machine-direction elongation at breakage of 70 to 150%. The film has such a high glass transition temperature and is excellent in insulation volume resistance and dielectric breakdown voltage at high temperatures. This film is useful for obtaining an excellent metallized film for heat-resistant capacitors and for obtaining an excellent heat-resistant film capacitor. |
