titleOfInvention Method and device for purifying liquids
abstract The invention relates to a purification method for liquids (2) which are used in an almost closed circuit. According to the inventive method, the coarse components are deposited from the liquid in a first coarse filtering process (7) and the fine particles are removed from the liquid in a successive sedimentation process which is carried out in a liquid tank (8). The small particles which are present as a sediment and the coarse components are subsequently supplied to a fine filtering device (10) by means of a separate circuit. Said components are entirely removed from the liquid (2) in said device (10) and are advantageously developed as a compact mud concentrate that is easy to handle and dispose of. The purification method is particularly suitable for purifying cooling water which is used for cooling the tools in machine tools.
