titleOfInvention | Organic electroluminescent element and method of manufacture thereof |
abstract | An organic electroluminescent element comprises a luminescence layer (3) interposed between a positive electrode (2) and a negative electrode (4) on a substrate (1). The negative electrode (4) comprises metallic material, alkaline metal, and carbon and oxygen atoms. The negative electrode is formed by deposition using a metallic material and an organic compound containing an alkaline metal. The organic electroluminescent element is heat-resistant and weather-resistant, and it operates on low voltage and emits high-luminance light while maintaining stable luminescence characteristics. The organic electroluminescent element has a wide range of manufacturing process conditions. |
