abstract The invention concerns cosmetic compositions containing at least an aqueous film-forming polymer dispersion at room temperature without co-solvent, or plasticizing agent. Said dispersions free of organic solvent dry fast and produce homogeneous, bright, non-sticky and abrasion-resistant films. Said dispersions consist of structured polymer particles having one or more domains with soft character (Tg < 20 DEG C) and one or more domains with hard character (Tg > 40 DEG C). The invention also concerns the uses of said dispersions in cosmetic compositions, such as nail varnish, mascara or lipsticks.
