Process for the synthesis of vertebrate telomeric dna |
abstract |
A process is described to obtain human telomeric DNA by introducing into a telomerase-h yeast one or more gene sequences of at least a human telomeric protein, such as TRF1p. The presence of at least such protein in yeasts that synthetizvertebrate telomers allows to obtain the control of the telomers length and the exact MAC propagation, thus respecting the telomers length. The yeasts of the invention are modified in that they contain a plasmid in which at least one gene of at least a such human telomeric protein is inserted, which allows such yeasts to produce telomeric DNA with telomers of at least 250 bp in length. In particular the cell is Saccharomyces Cerevisiae DBVPG 4P filed on 27.10.99. |
