abstract The invention relates to a method for detecting cleaning and/or disinfection of surfaces or objects in areas where a certain degree of purity has to be guaranteed, especially in health care facilities, the pharmaceutical industry and for producing medicine products. The inventive method is characterised in that applicators are applied to the surfaces or objects to be cleaned and/or disinfected and in the surface area where cleaning and/or disinfection is effective, whereby said applicators are applied before cleaning and/or disinfection. The applicators consist of a flat carrier respectively which has to be detachably connected to the surface or object with the rear side thereof, whereby said surface or object has to be verified. The carrier is coated with a test contamination on the front side thereof. Said coating is applied to all the carriers of a series with repeating accuracy and in such a way that incomplete cleaning and/or incomplete disinfection results in a partial cleaning process and/or partial disinfection process of the test contamination and that said partial cleaning process and/or partial disinfection process is evaluated and interpreted according to a downstream evaluation method in such a way that a constant and real-valued quality coefficient is allocated to a partial cleaning process and/or partial disinfection process respectively. Said coefficient clearly quantifies the extent of the partial cleaning process and/or partial disinfection process.
