abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing wood-plastic combinations with an inhomogeneous plastic distribution. According to the inventive method, a derived timber material is contacted with an impregnating mixture that contains polymerizable components in order to wet at least a part of the derived timber material. The derived timber material is loaded with the impregnation mixture and the impregnation mixture is then polymerized (cured). The impregnation mixture used has a viscosity in the range of from 1 to 2000 mPas and contains spherical particles having a size in the range of from 1 nm to 1 mm and/or polymers with a weight average of the molecular weight in the range of from 100,000 to 10,000,000 D. |
