| abstract |
A system, method, and article of manufacture for proactive management implemented during the maintenance and servicing of a networked supply chain environment. Telephone calls, data, and other multimedia information are routed over a network that transfers information over the Internet using telephone routing information and Internet protocol address information. The network includes a proactive threshold manager that warns suppliers in advance of an imminent breach of contract. Said proactive threshold manager sends an alarm to the service provider when the current service level no longer reaches the service level determined in the contract in terms of maintaining a certain level of service. |
